Op 'n skild met silweromsoming, deursny deur 'n silwerdwarsbalk, in die boonste seksie, in blou in die ereplaas 'n oopgeslaande boek van silwer met swart omlyning; onderste seksie, 'n groenveld. As wapenspreuk, op 'n silwerlint met swart rand, in swart letters: CARPE DIEM.

On a shield bordered Argent, parti per fess Argent, the upper section, Azure, in honour point an open book Argent, outlined Sable; lower section Vert. For a motto, on a scroll Argent, edged Sable, in letters Sable: CARPE DIEM.

The arms were officially granted on August 23, 1962.
