Official blazon
German In Gold eine links ansteigende, grün-silbern geschachte Mauerstufe, rechts ein schwebender roter, aufwärts gerichteter Steinhauerschlegel.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 4, 1948.

The arms symbolise the long history of the sandstone (dolomite) quarries in the village. The hammer is a typical type of tool used by the local stonemasons, whereas the squares resemble the quarry and the green colour of the stone.
