SONNTAG

State : Vorarlberg
District : Bludenz

Wappen von Sonntag (Vorarlberg)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 6, 1966.

The arms show a knight with the small arms of the Walser villages, a group of villages in Vorarlberg. The arms are based on the seal of Sonntag and a few neighbouring villages on the peace document of 1408 at the end of the Appenzeller Wars.
