Incorporated into: 1972 Königsberg in Bayern

Wappen von Kottenbrunn

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The municipality never had arms. The above arms were adopted as village arms in 2019.

The well (Brunnen) is a canting symbol. The spear refers to the legendary founder of the village, a warrior named Kotte. The spear is shown in the colours of the Franken region.

The gold (wheat) and flax flower refer to the current and former main crops in the area.
