TOLGA

Province : Innlandet (until 2020 Hedmark)

Arms of Tolga

Official blazon

I rødt ei gull klokke.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on July 14, 1989.

Tolga was home to a iron smeltery from 1666 to 1871, and the bell represents the old bell in the town square at the center of Tolga. The smeltery was important because of the prevalence of mining in the area.
