The Canadian Army Pacific Force was to be made up of Volunteers from all Canadian Divisions for the War Against Japan forming the 6th Division. However Japan capitulated before this Force was ready. The Colours symbolised the five Canadian Divisions with the addition of a Black Segment representing the independent Armoured Brigades.

Origin/meaning
