Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on ?

The heron is a common bird, typical for the area, which is rich in lakes and waterways. This is symbolised by the blue field. The upper field shows oak leaves for the local forests and a golden field for the sandy soil.

The arms are continued by Heidesee.
