French Écartelé: au 1er d'azur à l'épée basse d'argent, garnie d'or, accostée de deux pennes adossées d'argent, au 2e de gueules à la bande d'or, au 3e d'azur au lambel d'or à trois pendants en chef, au 4e de gueules à la poterne ouverte du champ, flanquée de deux tours, le tout d'or, ajouré d'argent et maçonné de sable.

Origin/meaning

The arms were already use din the 1990s, but formally (re-)adopted in 2021.

The first three quarters show the arms of the families that lived in the local castle until the Frebnch Revoution: the Marolles (I), Menou (II) and Maussabré (III) families.

The fourth quarter shows a former pigeon house or outhouse of the former castle (Which is now a mansion), which is now no longer existing.
