RAF STATION EPISKOPI, ROYAL AIR FORCE
History: Formed in 1955 becoming a Station on January 15, 1963.
Official blazon
In front of a mitre Or detailed gules two wings conjoined in base overall a sword argent pommelled Or point downwards.
Motto: United we endeavour.
Origin/meaning
The Mitre alludes to the meaning of the Greek word Episkopos which is Bishop. The Wings alludes to the Royal Air Force and the Sword to the Army, the support of which is the main function of the Station. The badge was granted in August 1964. Literature: Image from Pinterest.
