German | Im schwarzen Schild erhebt sich aus der erniedrigten Mittelgruppe eines den Seitenrändern angeschobenen grünen Dreiberges zwischen einer Sperrmauer ein Festungsturm, welcher oberhalb des von einer Türöffnung durchbrochenen Erdgeschosses drei schmale, übereinandergestellte offene Luken aufweist. Die flache Spitze des Turmes wird von einer geschlossenen Galerie gestützt. Turm und Sperrmauer sind golden tingiert. |

Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 27, 1952.
The arms show a castle blocking a valley. This indicates the strategic importance in historical times of the village and the possibility to block the street going through the valley at this position.
