Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted by the local council on November 11, 1924 and officially granted on November 28, 1924.

The arms show the arms of the Meyrin family (sword and crescent), known since 1314. The other half shows the arms of the Livron family, Lords of Mategnin and Cointrin, two other villages in the municipality.
