A gull volant argent carrying in the beak a flash of lightning gules.
Motto: Ad libertates volamus
Origin/meaning
The design represents the destruction carried to the Enemy across the Sea. The Motto transaltes as "We fly to freedom" The Badge was approved in March 1944
