In azuur een naar rechts kijkende omgewende fret van goud, met ogen van keel, staande op de achterpoten op een voetstuk van hetzelfede. Als embleemspreuk Ferociter Insto (ik zit fel achterma) in Latijnse leeter van goud op een lint van azuur.
Origin/meaning
The badge shows the Ferret from which the Ship has its Name. The Motto which translates as I follow closely alludes to one of the Characteristics of the Ferret. The badge was approved on 5 November 1954.
