CIEMPOZUELOS

Region : Comunidad de Madrid

Escudo de Ciempozuelos/Arms (crest) of Ciempozuelos
Official blazon
Spanish De sinople, un canal de oro, mazonado de sable y terrazado de sinople, cargado con ondas de plata y azur. Al timbre, Corona Real cerrada.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 17, 1973.

The arms show the canals from the Jarama river, which were first built in the 18th century, and which played a major role in the development of the village, dus to the increased possibilities to irrigate the fields.
