Official blazon

De gueules à saint Michel contourné, ailé et portant armure d'argent, casqué d'or, vêtu dune tunique du même chargée d'une croisette d'argent sur la poitrine, portant un bouclier d'argent à la croix d'or, terrassant de sa lance croisetée d'argent un dragon d'or couché sur le dos en pointe.

Origin/meaning

The arms show St. Michael, patron saint of the village, killing the dragon. The arms were originally granted in 1697, on a blue shield. The gold and blue were the royal colours. The present colours are the colours of the Alsace region.
