Zwischen grünen mit je drei silbernen Getreidegarben zu je drei Halmen belegten Flanken in Silber ein allseits anstoßender aus einem Band und Perlen bestehender roter Langpaß von einer oblongen Raute mit angesetzten Kreisbögen, darin ein roter Bischofsstab, umgeben von rotem Blattwerk.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on September 14, 1998.
The arms were based on the design of a medieval glass-window in the church of St. Ruprecht. St. Ruprecht (or Rupert) is one of the patron saints of the Archdiocese of Salzburg. The crosier is one of his attributes.
