ANNABURG

State : Sachsen-Anhalt
District (Kreis) : Wittenberg (until 1994 Jessen)

Wappen von Annaburg

Official blazon

(de) In Silber auf grünem Rasen ein natürlicher Rosenstrauch mit fünf roten (3:2) gestellten Rosen.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 17, 1993.

The arms first appear on a seal of 1678, after the merging of several villages into the new city of Annaburg. The roses probably symbolise the former villages.

Siegel von Annaburg

The arms on a municipal stamp (1892)
Wappen von Annaburg
