Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on December 30, 1999.
The arms show an oak tree, based on the large oak in the village of Kotwasice. The crosier refers to the Archbishops of Gniezno, who had possessions in the municipality. The bell is the bell from the Malanów church.
The green and gold refer to the agricultural character of the municipality.
