Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 2003.

The arms are a combination of elements from the arms from former lords and rulers of the different villages and estates in the municipality.
The fox is taken from the arms of the Le Goupil family; the lion from the arms of the Estouteville family; the chevron from the Roncherolles family; the fleur-de-lys from the Clergy family; the lion from the Bourgoise family and the scallops from the Pommare family.
