Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 13, 1988.

The cross in the millstone refers to the local patron saint, St. Florianus, as well as to the many watermills that existed in the municipality. The stone also refers to the granite quarries in Allerding and Gopperding.

The wavy bar refers to the Inn and Pram rivers.

Literature : Baumert, H.E. : Oberösterreichische Gemeindewappen, Linz, 1996.
