HÄUTLIGEN

Canton : Bern

Wappen von Häutligen/Arms (crest) of Häutligen
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were devised in 1928.

The colours are taken from the arms of the district Konilfingen, to which the village belongs. The rose symbolises the only village. The axe symbolises the former court of justice in the village. The mountain shows the landscape in the municipality.

Literature: Wappenbuch des Kantons Bern, 1981.
