BRECÉ

Département : Mayenne

Blason de Brecé/Arms (crest) of Brecé
Official blazon
French D'azur à la fasce fuselée de six pièces d'or accompagnée de six fleurs de lis d'argent, trois rangées en chef et trois rangées en pointe.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on September 23, 1999.

The arms are based on the arms of two former families that were lords of Brecé; the blue shield with golden fusils is taken from the arms of the Lords of Favières; the six silver fleurs-de-lys are taken from the arms of the family Chappedelaine.
