Wappen von Fügen (Zillertal)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 22, 1964.

The arms are a combination of elements of the arms of two noble families that played a major role in the development of the village. The axe is taken from the Hackl (Hacke=axe) family, the beetroot is taken from the Keutschacher family.
