Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on June 30, 2009.

The barley (orge) in the upper part is a canting element. The blue bend with the fleur-de-lys is taken as a symbol for the Île-de-France region, in which the village is situated. The base shows poppies and corn flowers, as a symbol for Beatrice lady of the Manor Orgereux in the thirteenth century
