Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted in 1439 by Prince-Elector Friedrich I of Brandenburg. The arms were covered with a helmet and the crest of the Hohenzollern dynasty, a dog's rump. All later seals and images show the same arms, which were officially confirmed by King Ludwig I of Bayern in 1836. The helmet and crest are still sometimes used. The quartered field shows the arms of the Hohenzollern dynasty. The left half shows a canting well (Brunnen). Contact and SupportPartners: Your logo here ?
