Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on December 16, 1985.

The arms are canting, the ferns refer to the Fa(h)ren (Farn=fern) part of the name, whereas th ebase refers to the -Krug part. Krug is an old word for corner or hollow in a landscape.
