  • (fr) D'or à la bande de gueules chargée de trois alérions d'argent accompagnée en chef d'un chêne de sinople, et en pointe d'une nef du même portant un pêcheur à la ligne de carnation, vêtu de sinople.

Origin/meaning

The red bend with the alerions is the arms of the Lorraine region. The oak tree refers to the local forest, the fisherman to the former importance of fishing in the Moselle river.
