History: Established as VA-67 on 1 August 1968, becoming VA-15 on 2 June 1969 and VFA-15 on 1 October 1986. The Squadron was deactivated on 31 May 2017.
Homeport: Last base before disestablishment NAS Oceana, Virginia.
