Origin/meaning

The hammer refers to the former granite mining in the area. The green colour refers to the forests and the Morvan. `The blue wavy bar refers to the many streams in the municipality, like the Romanée, Tournesacamd Vernidard.

The chief shows the arms of Burgundy.
