History: Formed at Snailwell in June 1942.

In front of a scroll argent a flaming arrow Or (flames gules) the point downwards.
Motto: Rerum cognoscere causas = To know the causes of things

Origin/meaning

The Scroll symbolises documentation made after reconnaissance flights and the Flaming Arrow symbolises the attacks on the enemy following this. The badge was granted in January 1945.
