Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on April 27, 2017.

The shield is divided in two for the villages of Babeau and Bouldoux, each represented by a bunch of grapes. The red and gold are the colours of the Languedoc region. The crosier refers to the St. Chinian Abbey, to which the village belonged until 1792. The (heraldic) fountai refers to the source of the Malibert river.
