RAUNHEIM

State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Gross-Gerau

Wappen von Raunheim/Arms (crest) of Raunheim
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

the arms were granted in 1926 and show the old village symbol. Its meaning is not clear, but it is first known from a document from 1625. The seal probably is a bit older. The symbol is also used on 18th century border stones.
