Escut caironat: d'or, una graella de sable amb el mànec a dalt, i 2 palmes de sinople ixent una a cada costat de la base del mànec, acompanyada de 2 roses de gules, una a cada costat del mànec. Per timbre una corona mural de vila.

Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 11th July 1990.

The grill and the palms are the attributes of the martyr St. Lawrence, the local patron saint. The two roses are a traditional sign, and probably are an allusion to the name Savall (from Catalan "sa vall", the valley).
