Origin/meaning

The current arms, adopted on October 20, 2014, show some grape vines, based on the 19th century seal of the town.

In the 1920s the local seal showed the apple tree of the paradise (a tree with a snake around it), and this composition was adopted as arms in 1997 and used until 2014.
