Escudo partido. 1º, de plata, medio vuelo de águila imperial de sable (Toledo); 2º, de gules, cruz de Malta. Se timbra con la corona real cerrada.

Origin/meaning

The village was historically owned by the order of Saint John, so it bears the cross of that Military Order, besides the imperial eagle for the province of Toledo, in which the village is situated.
