WEISSENBACH BEI LIEZEN
State : Steiermark
District : Liezen
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 3, 1975.
The arms depict the sheer drop of the Weißenbacherwand, at the foot of which the municipality is situated.
The miner's tools refer to the former mining sites in Weißenbach. Scythes were produced locally and exported in large quantities up to the end of the 19th century.
