Official blazon

D'azur à un dextrochère mouvant du flanc senestre et tenant une crosse abbatiale, le crosseron tourné à dextre, ladite crosse adextrée d'une fleur de lis épanouie et senestrée de deux étoiles à six rais, le tout d'or.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on July 15, 2003.

The villages of Bassenge and Roclenge were since the early 12th century a possession of the Abbey of Saint James in Liège. The arms are based on the seal of the abbey from 1385. The colours are also those of the chapter of Saint James in Liège.
