Arms of Øsby

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1965.

The scythe refers to the agricultural character of the municipality, whereas the eel-fork refers to fishing, mainly on the island of Årø. The wavy division line symbolise the two parts, the mainland and the island of Årø.
