Official blazon

Per pale Argent (Silver Gray) and Or, two Scimitars saltirewise points down Gules surmounted by a lozenge axis horizontal Sable bearing an eagle's head erased of the second.
Crest: From a wreath Argent (Silver Gray) and Gules a plam tree Proper surmounted by a bezant bearing a bend wavy Azure.
Motto: Eagle's Treasure.

Origin/meaning

Silver Gray and golden yellow are the colours of the Finance Corps. Black denotes solidity and solvency; red symbolises valour and sacrifice. The lozenge is adopted form the Finance Corps Insignia. The Eagle's Head denotes association with the 101st Airborne Division "Screaming Eagles". The Scimitars indicates the Battalion's two campaings in Southwest Asia.The gold disc indicates a coin, the blue wavy bas symbolises the Euphrates River. The Palm tree indicates that the Battalion was the first Finance element to enter Iraq during Operation Desert Storm.
