Origin/meaning

This Regiment originates in 1720 when the exiled Hungarian Count Ladislaus Bercseny (French Spelling Bercheny) was given premission by the King of France to raise a Hussars Regiment. The Insignia shows the Coat of Arms of the Count, which was later to become Marshal of France. Template:Fr1 Template:Media1
