The Dragon-Griffin of Östergötland is used as Arms indicating the location of the Regiment to Linköping in Östergötland. Approved 1978.
The Regiment was raised in 1949 and in 1985 reduced to a Battalion within the Life Grenadier Regiment. It was disbanded in 1997.
