Origin/meaning

The Provincial Coat of Arms of Östergötland with the Winged Swords of Army Aviation. The Battalion was raised in 1985 and in 1998 was incorporated into the Helicopter Wing as the Östgöta Helicopter Battalion. And was finaly disbanded in 2004.
