Origin/meaning

The Feathers and Crown with the Motto Ich dien is the Badge of the Prince of Wales. The Horses symbolises the Light Horse origins of the Regiment. The Regiments of Australian (and New Zealand) Light Horse won fame in the Middle East during World War I. The Boomerang alludes to the Australian Character of the Regiment.
