Origin/meaning

The Shield alludes to a Platoon of five Tanks entering combat in a flying wedge formation.The Two Lions alludes to Normandy and Belgium where the Unit served during World War II.
The Korean Gateway symbolises the action of repulsing enemy's attempt to pierce the Pusan Perimeter at Taegu during the Korean War.
