Background

The album was published by the Abdulla Cigarette Company, Berlin-Johannisthal in 1928, as the first of a larger series of albums.

The album was mase for a series of relatively large cards (10 x 6 cm), Deutsche Städtewappen (German city arms). On the fornt of the cards the arms were shown, with information on the town and (sometimes) the arms. On the back was advertising for the cigarettes of the company. The album was printed by Franz Lindner in Ratibor. The author and the artist are not known.
