Escudo de prata, um pelourinho de púrpura, cingido de uma coroa de ouro, com pedraria, acompanhado em orla de três escudetes de azul, carregado cada um de cinco besantes de prata, posto um em chefe e dois em faixa, alternando com quatro estrelas de seis pontas de vermelho. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas : “ ALDEIA GALEGA DA MERCEANA “.

The arms were officially granted on July 7, 1995.
