|Heraldry of the World (Heráldica del mundo)
Civic heraldry of Spain - Heraldica Española
The arms were granted on October 4, 1996.
The arms are canting: they show a "gerra" (Catalan for jug, pitcher). The baron crown is at the top because Algerri was the centre of a barony in the XVI century.
