Official blazon

Escudo de negro com um castelo de ouro aberto e iluminado de vermelho. Orla de prata carregada por quatro abelhas de negro realçadas de ouro, alternadas com quatro bolotas de verde, troncadas e folhadas do mesmo. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco com os dizeres : " VILA DE ALMODÔVAR ", de negro.


Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 5, 1938.
