Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1975 and officially granted on October 15, 2013.

The fish are taken from the old seal of Arnsdorf. Fishing in the local ponds and lakes was of great economic importance.

The wheatears refer to agriculture, the aesculapius to the local hospital for neurology and psychiatry. The base refers to industry.
