Official blazon

I fält av guld två bjälkvis ordnade gröna ekar över en av en vågskura bildad blå stam, belagd med tolv (4, 3, 4, 1) bysantiner av guld.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on October 12, 1945.

The trees in the upper part of the arms are taken from the arms of Blekinge province. The lower part shows a number of coins, used in prehistoric times as offerings. In Asarum many prehistoric sites have been found.
